Well over the last week we visited the HR team at the University of Portsmouth and met up with Peter Brook the HR Director. Peter introduced us to his friendly and professional team and it appears that there are lots of exciting things going on. Portsmouth is currently one of the most popular universities in the UK and is receiving recognition from all quarters to this effect. Peter shared the university’s People Strategy with us and we were all in agreement that it was a really interesting visit.
We also spent some time over at Whiteley and at Lakeside in Cosham to register new and existing candidates. Remember; if you want to register with us but cannot get to our offices here in Fratton and would like us to come to you, just call us and we’ll do everything we can to meet with you somewhere more convenient!
A lot of the potential roles we are getting at present with new businesses appear to be embracing the fact that people want to work with companies that demonstrate a positive culture and have visionary and supportive leaders. Many companies are trying to share their progressive visions. Tangible benefits are great of course, yet a positive and supportive culture, together with development opportunities are widely sought after too.
It has been the busiest week since the start of the year in terms of interviews booked. We have had some fantastic candidates representing us and they have given some great feedback on their interviews with our clients.
